Chameleon Glass | Absolute Zero Bonehead Skull Freezer Hand Pipe

What makes the Chameleon Glass Absolute Zero Bonehead Skull freezer hand pipe featuring the Bonehead Skull unusual is the miniaturized coil condenser. Coil condensers have been a staple of scientific glassblowing for years, but, they are typically very large and meant for laboratory settings. Our coil is made with specially manufactured small diameter size glass tube. The small diameter allows us to shrink the apparatus to fit in your hand (and your freezer!) The special tubing is perfect to maximize heat transfer from your smoke to the chilled liquid inside the chamber.

Other freezer pipes are bulky and use cheaper materials like mineral-oil. The coefficient of expansion of these cheaper materials is significantly larger than the organic, plant based glycerin used by Chameleon. Mineral-Oil is great to float sparkly bits like a snow globe, but it can expand to the point of cracking the glass if left in full sun.

Chameleon fills the Absolute Zero Freezer Glass Pipe featuring Bonehead Skull with organic, plant based glycerin to ensure the chamber does not fail if you happen to leave the pipe out. After close to 30 years in business, we’ve also seen our fair share of odd ways that glass is broken. Glass does in fact break, but glycerin is easy to clean up if one of your friends accidently drops it during the sesh!

The internal coil of an Absolute Zero Freezer Glass Pipe featuring Bonehead Skull is in constant contact with the super cooled glycerin contained in the chamber. Our coil provides a pathway for smoke to travel over the super cooled internal surface of the glass for heat transfer. The smoke is blast chilled, condensed and re-humidified prior to inhalation. Once the smoke passes out of the pipe, it offers a crisp pull that lessens any irritation and immediately begins to expand. As it expands, the smoke gains pressure and pushes into the deepest reaches of your lungs to provide twice the normal transfer/absorption of your chosen smoke.

Miniaturization has made the airway smaller, so an even, consistent pull is required.
